We won Mini-Civic fest, held in Nov 2016, securing 3 rd position and we also won Civic- fest at the zonal level held on 10th Dec 2016, securing 2 nd positio. Our excitement knew no bounds….
The Little Flower’s High School were the pioneers- long before some of the major Corporates and colleges, leave alone schools- in imparting computer education to our students from class I to class X. It was a humble beginning - we began with just three computers and a dedicated team of computer teachers’ way back in 1991.
It was herculean task to implement this Management decision of computer education in school, but thanks to the foresight and determination of our Managing Trustee, Mr. Ladislaus Pereira ably assisted by Prof. Shashikant Kulkarni who introduced computers in school despite strong opposition from various quarters including the Maharashtra State Education Department, local Corporators/ politicians and a few parents. Today, our parents compliment us for the foresight of the Management who introduced computer education much before the other schools. Presently we have state of art computer labs (6 nos.) with 74 latest computers, printers, scanners, along with Wi-Fi and internet connection. Our students are now computer savvy and use this technology to seek information from the internet, send emails, and make presentations, and greeting cards for their parents and siblings using various computer applications. The Little Flower Education Centre has taken one more step in this field and has opened up opportunities to make a career in computers through its University recognized courses like BCA, MCA, etc. Presently many schools boast of SMART classes/ computer aided teaching i.e. using computers for teaching-learning process. However The Little Flower’s High School had incorporated computer aided teaching -learning with the help of SchoolNet India Ltd way back in 1995. We are proud to mention that our staff are all computer savvy and develop their own teaching- learning lessons with computers and of course internet.
The Little Flower's High incorporated Karate as part of it's Curriculum way back in 1993. The highly respected Sensei Dr.Ravi Lalwani and His professional Team of Instructors impart rigorous Karate Training to our students.
