The Little Flower’s High School is not the typical school that you find in Mumbai, we are constantly striving to give our students the best. The Little Flower’s High School is an ISA awardee school for the period 2015 – 2018 from the British Council, UK. A clear endorsement that the school curriculum followed at The Little Flower’s High School is of International Standards set by the British Council.
The Little Flower’s High School has Digital Attendance System for their students. The students swipe their ‘SMART CARDS’ when they enter the school. These smart cards are registered according to their class. Hence as the students swipe- in the ‘SMART CARDS’ their attendance gets registered with the class teachers. The app additionally also messages the parent if their ward has not reported in school.
We are pioneers in technology based systems not just in our teaching, but in our communications with students/parents. We started Computer Education way back in 1991, when even the Education Department had yet to prescribe Computer Education in schools. Today we have state-of-the –art computer labs, and are pioneers even with our students giving online exams. Our online exams initiative was introduced in the academic year of 2015-16.
TENO app is ‘two way’ communication system between the class teacher and the parents of each of her class students. The mobile number of each parent of the said class is registered with the mobile number of the class teacher through this ‘TENO APP’.
With students regularly taking part in inter school competitions and exhibitions, we ensure that they are knowledge enhanced and confident for the world ahead. Apart from winning laurels for the school they take pride in their experience gained in the exposure. We believe just academics are not enough; the discipline of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities will give them the edge, required for the future.
Our proactive/interactive sessions are not confined to just the students, but also targeted at parents. We conduct sessions for the parents, with experts talking about the different aspects of parenting ranging from health to child psychology.
Our students are society ready by the time they pass out, with absolutely focused and interactive methods of teaching/learning the school employs. Our individual and group projects range from the regular academic topics to societal and environmental. We strive to give our students the lessons of life to enhance their understanding of the world around them.
